Ken is gonna be all over things and try to help protect Rin from her Shadow but also force her towards it? He's seen this before, he knows it's hard but he knows what's gotta happen in the end.

PROBABLY GONNA BE HARD, KEN. Like I said, Rin is almost definitely going to shoot it no questions asked on their first interaction. He's welcome to try to get them together, but he's probably not going to have the chance to warn her before that happens! Though I will definitely toss Rin's shadow his way on its own, it'd have plenty of things to say to him. c:
