Description:
Sans is an infamously lazy skeleton monster of simple needs: he likes junk food and imbibing ketchup, enjoys cracking bad jokes and pulls friendly, harmless pranks on people, and he generally gets along with almost everyone he meets. If there's more to this guy than there appears to be, he isn't inclined to talk about it. Been here a while, which explains why he always seems to know someone who might help you answer that question or get that thing done, so long as you aren't asking him to work.
What You're Looking For: Sans is the sorta guy who knows practically everybody (but few know how he ticks in turn). He's a hard nut to crack and even more cagey than ever before. As usual, I'm looking for friendly acquaintances, people he can learn about and (mutually) invest in their lives and become closer pals or just monkey around. Especially interested in people who try to get him to do things instead of being a lazybones.
What You're Not: Don't ask for Sans to dunk on your character, chances are extremely likely it's not happening!
Plans: I'll continue tagging/wrapping up soul-link event threads from last month. Sans is one of the (many) people getting stuck in cages tomorrow and will be broadcasting an emergency message about it to help get the ball rolling on the rescues. At some point he'll also be running from Dementors at which point he'll have a brush with Falling Down (i.e., dying, because the aura of despair those Dementors give off is basically a death sentence for monsters from Undertale), a friend is rescuing him from the jaws of death by depression (lol) which will have repercussions later in October. I hear this will trigger some of Sans's OTHER friends into fighting the Dementors. Try keeping an eye out for those logs if you're interested and see if you can join in, that sounds fun to me!

Not quite "getting him to do things" level but Sans is about hitting the point where Sanji would take a more aggressive interest in his... diet. Like holy shit, he knows monsters work differently from actual skeletons, but he does not believe Sans is getting enough calcium from a bottle of ketchup.

So YEAH I don't know how that would go but he'd certainly make attempts to feed him meals that don't personally piss him off off... probably based on Iron Chef and the like.

What You're Looking For: Tim needs more CR in general! He's made some friends (kinda) but his CR is still pretty rocky due to the whole "attacking people while Not Quite Himself" for a little bit. Description: Colin is an engineer. That means he solves problems. Not problems like "What is beauty?", because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. No, he solves Practical Problems. For instance, how is he gonna stop several cages from sinking beneath the waves and drowning all the people inside.
He also happens to say the exact wrong thing at the exact wrong time a lot of the time. So there you go.
What You're Looking For: Colin needs science buddies. He needs ALL the science buddies. Also, general problem solving is totally his reason for existing. Finally, he could use a little help when he asks for ideas for something later in the month.
What You're Not: No need for shipping. The criteria to be shipped with Colin is exceedingly narrow. Also, no pointless angst. He's got enough to worry about.
Plans: This month, the start of the month is going to be dedicated to solving problems as they present themselves.
Later in the month, barring catastrophe, Colin and Death were planning to put on some sort of Halloween party, though he hasn't come up with many details yet.

Character Name: Ashton Anchors.
Canon: Star Ocean: The Second Story
Description: Ashton is a peerless swordsman and mercenary. When Ashton takes the field, he can turn the tide of a battle.
Assuming he doesn't slip on a rock or fall in a mud puddle.
He's also got two ornery dragons grafted to his back, thanks in part to slipping on a rock when he was fighting them. These dragons are vocal, intelligent, and entirely their own entities, and they will let everyone know that.
What You're Looking For: Just about anything, I have been slacking hard on Ashton. He should probably take part in some more clearing since that has only gone so far.
What You're Not: I'm not looking to get him hurt or killed, there's enough chance for that to happen regularly in the course of the game. Also, plz to not be antagonizing the dragon man. He doesn't take it well.
Plans: Sometime this month, Ashton and Pyramid Head are likely going to throw down. Beyond that, he's not got many plans unless somebody grabs him for work.

Character Name: Katherine Volkovich
Canon: Destiny
Description: Katherine is a quiet sniper from after the end of the world. She makes friends easily enough, but more often than not, she'll be off doing her own thing for the good of everyone.
She's also got a mechanical ghost companion, a sentient machine gun, and an exceedingly friendly ball of gas that would love to meet you.
If there's a job to be done, Katherine does it. She's a Guardian, it's what she does.
What You're Looking For: Of all my characters, Katherine is most likely to look for a play date for her Pokemon. Because let's face it, bitties need friendship.
She's also extremely eager to scout ahead for everyone and find their next goals. Nobody's taken her up on this, though to be fair, she doesn't advertise it much.
What You're Not: Katherine will never be a social butterfly. She makes friends easy enough, but she prefers to keep to the edges of gatherings, and stick to high places away from everyone while out on missions.
Plans: Because of the peril at the beginning of the month, you better believe that Katherine's going key hunting, and if it's in a dangerous place, she'll be the first one to dive right in. So have fun with that if you decide you want to go with her.

Okay fo'real-- Wade's basically a chewy nougat of insecurity and abandonment issues wrapped around a layer of witty quips and pop culture references. Lately he's been trying to reconcile his heroic, compassionate streak with his desire to push people away as a defense mechanism (making friends is hard when you know they'll all die someday and you won't haha...ha), so he's still very conflicted as a result. Expect him to be shallowly funny to a fault until you really get to know him and his inner demons. Deep down, the dude's a mess.

What You're Looking For: This month I'd like to push Frisk out of their comfort zone; they've accumulated the foundation for a willingness to FIGHT in their time in SR, and I'd love if that got to come into play a little bit. I'd be perfectly happy if they were to take a support role in rescuing the caged characters - heck, they can essentially hold their breath forever thanks to savescumming, so anyone who gets the big drink but can't die from drowning? Description: Fubuki is a kid with ice powers from the JJBA of sports anime. He does soccer! For the most part, he's mellow and timid and keeps to himself a lot. Canon calls him the Prince of the Snowfields for his quiet and polite demeanor; nothing seems threatening about him at all. Except none of that is true anymore, because Fubuki has an aggressive split personality that has taken over. Atsuya is all energy and pride, and strives to be perfect. Atsuya is mostly pretending to be Shirou for now, but his act isn't perfect.
What You're Looking For: FUBUKI NEEDS CR. Of all kinds, actually! But most specifically, he needs friends - those who will find Shirou buried in Atsuya, or who will train him, or who will help him work through his issues. I absolutely won't say no to people who want to mess with him, either, though. And I'd be delighted if someone caught him yellow-eyed and mistook him for a Shadow.
What You're Not: ...No, I'm pretty sure I'm in the market for everything, actually.
Plans: I don't...actually have anything concrete for him right now. I'm considering Atsuya trying to gather an actual soccer club together, because who doesn't like some recreational sports in the middle of the Shadow war?

What You're Looking For: More adopted family would be nice? He thrives on having people around him. Could use friends his age, too (He's 15ish), and I'd love for him to meet someone from Tokyo (it has to be Tokyo) just because he'd bombard them with questions, since he's been there. Description: The living embodiment of the phrase, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Callous, bitter, resigned to their lot in life, and distrustful of basically anything that moves. Also a bit bossy w/e w/e you're not their real mom.

What You're Looking For: People who aren't afraid of dipping down the deep dark road of really fucked up shit. Chara's basically a walking, talking cw, so people who aren't afraid to deal with that is a huge plus. Also anyone willing to put up with or even backchat against their shit is great.
What You're Not: Romantic stuff is off the table for obvious reasons.

Plans: Get in bitch we're going to hell.

This intro event sees a lot of people Chara's been struggling not to (and a few people they've only just come to terms with) acknowledge caring about in pretty dire straights, so Chara's going to be Not Okay and leading the pack, as it were. It'd be super neat to plot with people regarding getting stuff done, particularly when it comes to stopping the cages and finding the keys. Later on in the month; who knows? I have some ideas, but- spoilers. :)

Canon: Durarara!!
Description: Flirtatious former gang leader turned quasi-soldier by the events of the previous game he's CRAU from. His exterior personality is irreverent and silly, cracking bad jokes and hitting on basically everyone that's even nominally a woman, while his inner self is a fair bit more serious and observant. Also he's twenty/going on twenty-one that I keep noting annoyingly because I know my icons don't necessarily reflect that oops.

What You're Looking For: Masaomi Kida is a relatively new addition to the castle, and thus far he's tried to involve himself in the conflict and in the daily lives of the people here. You might've seen his first network post a while back, or his second where he introduced the idea of Kida Radio. He's looking for friends and allies! He's also got a Raichu partner and I'm considering having him adopt a second Pokémon from the daycare, so there's that too! In the longer term, he would love to find himself a girlfriend, but I'm in no way ship pushing about that.

Aside from all of those, the big thing will be looking for people or places he can involve himself in the central conflict here. Either to learn about it more (with a vague idea of making an Introductory Guide to inform the population at large), or to commit himself to the war effort. That is to say, reclaiming rooms and/or defending existing ones. Don't take it to means he's all serious or all casual, because he's really both, even if he tries hard to project the later over the former sometimes.
What You're Not: I'm not sure I get this category... I'm not sure there's anything I don't want...?

Plans: Okay so for the record I will not drop any thread you have with me unless it gets way, way ancient and at that point I'll talk to you about it so we can work out some assumed conclusion. So anything we currently have? Still moving, don't worry. Aside from that, here's a couple of things he can offer to plots in the next month/things I'd love to do.
- Masaomi was one of the three people on push that exposed/won the Sluices for us, which is the access point to the cages from our outside perspective. He's also one of the two who isn't locked in a cage who was on the team. As such, he can lead people there and either way will be deciding himself to helping out with the whole getting the key thing going. So please, let's plot with that.
- Masaomi is going to need to room with someone else who is on floor two or one. He's twenty-one years old so he's a logical target of the Freddy's Robots which are haunting floors three through six. I would also love to do a log where more than one teenage or younger character needs to smuggle him out of those floors as an escort quest. He currently lives on floor four, so it won't be a long trek, but it could surely be eventful!
- Of the other monsters, the one I had the most intention of getting involved with was probably the Weeping Angels. I'm not sure what cause he has to go to the room they're in, but I'd love a log/threads about that. Maybe some scouting mission? Probably not related to the key because that needs to be resolved before the monsters show up but hey that could be combined?

Also in shallow land I'd love to do something with our new pool/fitness room. That'd be swell. Maybe that can be combined with Spoopy Stuff? Idek.

What You're Looking For: I want him to find some friends, the weirder the better. I'd say I want him to have someone he butts heads with but that means you pretty much have to hurt one of his teammates right now, as he's not much for grudges other than that. Someone flirt at him. He wont know what to do maybe.
What You're Not: N/A - Bring me everything.
Plans: NEW HERE! Both Hunk and me, so I have no major plans yet. He wants to settle in and not die in Cage 3 with Wade and Blue. He wants his feet on the ground and something to eat.
As for events for the month! Requested Treat 20, so we'll see what happens. Annnnd I would love to say he will go EXPLORE! But unless someone drags his butt out of his room (where ever that will be) he's not going to want to go anywhere.

He's super overconfident and loves to brag but it's honestly probably a mask for insecurities. Welp.
What You're Looking For: ALL THE THINGS? He's just showed up here, so! It'd be great for him to get some new friends (he loves you guys, Team Voltron, but he can't limit his friendly trolling to just a few people).

Description: Pink-haired Gothic Lolita who loves cute/spooky things and has ghost powers from eating a canon specific fruit called the Hollow Hollow Fruit aka Horo Horo no Mi. This means she can create ghosts (hollows) from her body that act as her eyes and ears if she wants to survey a certain place. There are three kinds, one of which causes intense depression/negativity in a character if they touch it. Those are the Negative Hollows. The other two explode. 8Db Also, the former ghost? Nearly indestructible. Cannot be cut, caught, or burned. Not easily anyway...and they can pass through almost anything. She can also remove her own spirit from her body.

Perona's sort of bratty and spoiled, making it difficult to get along with her, but she's not too bad if she's treated with kindness and respect. Being what she considers "cute" or scarily elegant (spooky) nets you points in her book, so yeah. Expect her to fawn over anyone that's kawaii af or fits her aesthetic.

If she dislikes you though, hoo boy. Be prepared for a grudge to last a lifetime.
What You're Looking For: More CR!! I really want to introduce her to as many people and get her network of friends up! She's not very trusting of others because of her pirate roots, so it's hard to create deep bonds right away with Perona, but she's a very loyal and power ally to have if you get in her good graces. I also want someone she can sort of talk to about scary stories, sailing/the ocean...and someone to design clothes for. Honestly, she needs someone to just spend time with her, since she gets lonely sometimes.

Also, after all the craziness, I'd love for someone to battle her Pokemon or have a cute teaparty with her. She loves having fun and playing tricks on people to frighten them.
What You're Not: Intensely negative CR where the two characters are at each other's throats from looking at one another (cough, Chara), death/fatal or permanent injuries, shipping - though if it does happen I want it to be a slow burn sort of deal over months of development, and that's really it for now!
Plans: Bullet points for convenience!! Since this month is going to be busy for my ladies:
- Perona is going to be on standby/rescue patrol for those caged. Also anyone hurt, she's experienced with medicine and first aid, so yeah. NURSE PERONA ON THE WAY.
- God fucking damnit she is going to find and coddle one of the bats that appear. Maybe more. SHE LOVES BATS OKAY, SHE HAS A TATTOO OF ONE ON HER ARM.
- Saving Zaveid (and possibly Sans') stupid asses from the dementors because she can best deal with negativity/depression.
- Having a run-in with Foxy and getting gored/slashed by his hook pretty badly. Probably going to have this happen nearer to the middle/end of the month. I'm trying to sort out a timeline... But yeah, during this, Perona will be healing up. Not killing her off, but she will be hurt badly.

Description: A nerd from another Earth that has since been wiped clean of all life. Has been playing the role of barbarian warrior for more than a year because swinging around an axe and wearing pieces of dead animals is cool and lets him feel more confident in himself. Over the course of his adventures he's become a Pokémon trainer and an alchemist, among other things. He doesn't talk about himself much, but he wants the people around him to be happy and is good as a support character. This is his second time in Sol Raveh, and he was previously in the Bastion. Currently he's trying to process the discovery that his homeworld, his family, and his friends are all dead, so he's not going to be his normal self for a while.
What You're Looking For: Characters who will be supportive of the guy who's spent the past three months alone with four Pokémon and the corpses of every human on Earth. A few characters who will react badly and possibly violently to unexpected physical contact.
What You're Not: Romance. He's just not interested. Especially not now.
Plans: He'll be hanging out in a cage for a few days, before anything else. Once he's semi-functional again he'll be letting his fellow Bastion survivors know about what he saw in his homeworld. Dealing with his team of traumatized Pokémon is also on the list. Encounters with some of the October monsters are a possibility if he isn't stopped from doing something reckless. At some point I'd like to have Rob draw aggro in a fight and show what he's made of (organs).

Description: Basically Ryuji is your typical punk teenager, only he's not. He looks the part but really he is the biggest nerd and a huge softy when it comes to his friends. He's very smart and capable. With his AU comes only a single big change, he is in fact a half demon, kin to Lucifer the Demon King of Light. That being said he is not directly related to him, his relationship is a bit more distant than Rin's is to Satan himself.
What You're Looking For: Ryuji could use more people to work out with, his 6am runs are pretty lonely because his boyfriend sleeps into forever. At the same time, someone who just rubs him the wrong way could be fun. Basically looking for any kind of CR, positive or negative.
What You're Not: He is not interested in anything romantic. He has a boyfriend and that is all he needs. The only way anyone else would be added to the equation is if Rin was up for it too, and even then it would take a lot of getting to know the person for both of them I'm sure.
Plans: Ryuji is basically up to the same thing every month, surviving and helping people who might need it. Trying to have him become more active in pushes because his Light powers are helpful against the shadows but it's hard to remember sometimes.

Description: A smallish man with catlike eyes and a friendly, laid back personality. He's very fond of puns and flirting with others for his own amusement. Nikkari also happens to be a sword. Yes, a sword. Specifically, a wakizashi. No, not a person that can turn into a weapon, but the spirit of an actual sword given physical form. He's still getting the hang of this "being a person" thing.
What You're Looking For: It'd be kinda neat if any of the people from Earth actually realized exactly which sword he is. I mean, the blade is somewhat famous. Also, more friends is always nice. People who he can actually make him angry would be kinda neat too, since he hasn't yet. And by all means, flirt back; he doesn't know how to handle it, and it'll be great.

What You're Looking For: Dove needs friends and people she can very seriously trust! She was brought in from an incredibly shaky turning point in her canon and thrown into...well, the castle, so she's really in need of a few really good friends that she can trust. (And while she might mind it for a little while, I definitely wouldn't mind her getting some shippy action, even if it doesn't go far.) She also needs some mentors, for those elementals out there! Someone teach her how to not grow plants in her sleep...
