Character Name: Masaomi Kida
Canon: Durarara!!
Description: Flirtatious former gang leader turned quasi-soldier by the events of the previous game he's CRAU from. His exterior personality is irreverent and silly, cracking bad jokes and hitting on basically everyone that's even nominally a woman, while his inner self is a fair bit more serious and observant. Also he's twenty/going on twenty-one that I keep noting annoyingly because I know my icons don't necessarily reflect that oops.

What You're Looking For: On fear of being tacky, one of Masaomi's soft goals is to find a girlfriend simply because that's something he's failed to do for the last four to five years. I'm in no hurry to rush shipping though, so that's more thrown out there to explain his mental state. So I guess you could say that I'm looking for people who play women who are either IC or their players are OOCly cool with him being a ridiculous flirt at them. He can at least take a hint after a fashion though, sort of. But he could also just use friends and allies in general, given I only apped in this last month it's not like he had particularly deep CR with anyone even if I did have that pretty successful network post (thanks everyone btw for that I appreciate the warm welcome).

But okay, putting the broad strokes aside-! As mentioned above Masaomi is a bit of a quasi soldier so let's also throw out people to train with and also people he can fight alongside. The lack of a gym is really bothering him, and to get a sense of where he's at relative to the population he might eventually ask if anyone wants to spare if you're into that. He also has a Raichu who is going on three years old now and is his beloved partner (name Linda) so there's the Pokémon angle for CR if you want that, and he's certainly interested in way so many people have Pokémon here in the castle, it's very different to Luceti where only four Pokémon which didn't come with their trainers from another world were ever born.

Which actually leads into the fact that the castle does not have an IC introduction guide. This isn't to say he's willing to write it himself (though given time he might take a crack at compiling notes), but he's been reaching out to try and get down some key details like who's been here the longest, what happens when characters are dropped people vanish, what death means in this world, what sort of events strange happens have happened in the past and why and getting a feel for the castle when there's only (as far as I know) a limited map. He's also not fought shadows per se yet (though I imagine he will in this Queen's assault which is mentioned here?) so he's not sure how he stands there yet, which is messing with his self worth a little.

So yeah basically anything?

Plans: First things first I got on the Shadow event a little late but I would love replies there. I'll be tagging out more too (hope that's not annoying at this point...?) but really, I know your characters wouldn't know him well but fun chance to start, right? Right. Also I would love to find people to connect his heart to for the next event. I know he's not exactly made a lot of close connections yet so that could really just be any random person right? Like we might as well and see where that goes! Plus whatever I mentioned in CR desired, I might have made this too long, haha.

Sans knows practically everyone and has no qualms with sharing general information -- it just might not come all at once, as he is very lazy. And you have to suffer through his jokes. But he is a pretty good connection to have.

I want our characters to interact more even if Sans is a lazy trashbag, basically!!!

Maka's 16, so she's too young for him and I didn't want to be presumptuous before because she is canonically The Undesirable, but hey I'm all right with any doofy flirting if you want. She'd be totally oblivious at best and "wow what happened that made you have such shitty taste" at worst.

She also has a fighty Clefairy that always wants to WRASSLE and a Ralts that just wants everyone to get along, so there's that too.

Description: A CRAU from Vatheon, who's still very much struggling with Friendship and the whole 'being a better person'. He's still an arsehole, though tries to hide this fact. He owns a crobat, so the fact he can be nice is on display, and the fact he left his seventh pokemon, espon, up at the daycare should say a lot. (he still has the cherishball she returns to.) Also, it's not yet known(?) he's nicknamed any of his pokemon aside from Shae, and he'll deny forever he named her.
What You're Looking For: People he can trust, lean on in times of doubt, and who won't judge him for his past. MENTORS????? His past is messy, his main pokemon have PTSD because of it, and Silver'll squirm every time it's brought up. Otherwise, any and all CR is loved and welcomed. Neg CR is really easy to get, due to his Shadow event. I think he's got a teacher re: sword practice?

POKEMON TRAINING TOO. Oh god, he'd be all over you if you'd do battles for training practice with him. (Or took on the battles to stealthy make him a better person, lol) He's a Rival near the end of his canon, so he won't lose easily, JSYK.
What You're Not: Romance. for all he's 18. he has Issues. And is still hung up on his girlfriend from Vat.
Plans: Silver is basically running from his Shadow, (Who's more than happy to ruin his life) and will have a near death Exp due to it. His admittance to his sins is a VERY Public, probably very messy emotional event. That said, he's going to have a nightmares about this for a while - complete with waking screaming. Otherwise, his gengar is probably going to be out and about soonish stealing hats and or shiny things.

What You're Looking For: Oh boy so I'm looking for people who are willing to put up with exactly how driven Chara is going to be over the next six weeks; they're intent on making things happen, and they'll be doing it whether others are there to help them or not. I'd also be more than keen for people to actually get irritated or even put the verbal foot down when it comes to how forceful the kid is trying to push things; treat them like the kid they are, do it.
What You're Not: Right now is probably not going to be the best time for people who want something lighthearted.

Chara's shadow event toplevel is still up and going, so I'm more than happy for people to jump that, or to jump other's threads! Forewarning that my inbox has been a little swamped, so I am being a bit slow!

For the remainder of August Chara is going to be giving up on a lot of pretenses they've been making for the sake of "fitting in". They won't be bothering to pretend to eat anymore, nor are they going to be particularly bothered if they wind up outright insulting and pushing people away.

Further on that, both Chara and Rin Tohsaka will be looking at doing a push, even if they have to do it on their own. If you're eager to help with this, hit us up, and we can easily arrange for something to happen there!

As Chara won't be playing around, expect to see a lot less of them reading a lot more of them either outright in the thick of attacking shadows, or working on their skills with a knife. Point blank, they're not looking to take anymore downtime... and I'd be super happy to have people who want to get irritated at this upstart little kid for being 1. a prick 2. a bossy prick.

For September I have two slots taken for soul things, and potentially a third; but I'm really more than up for plotting things regarding this if you'd like to!

Description: Sans is an infamously lazy skeleton of simple needs: he likes to crack bad jokes, pull friendly, harmless pranks on people, and generally gets along with almost everyone he meets. If there's more to this guy than there appears to be, he isn't inclined to talk about it. Been here a while, which explains why he always seems to know someone who might help you answer that question or get that thing done, so long as you aren't asking him to work.
What You're Looking For: Sans is the sorta guy who knows practically everybody (but few know how he ticks in turn). He's a hard nut to crack and even more cagey now, which is what makes this upcoming event so delicious. As usual, I'm looking for friendly acquaintances, people he can learn about and (mutually) invest in their lives and become closer pals or just monkey around. CR that digs into who he is as a person would be neat, too, but like I said, he's very tough to get to open up.
What You're Not: He is so seriously out of spoons right now he can barely prop himself up let alone deal with other people's shit. (/LAUGHING ALONE WITH KETCHUP)
Plans: Stuff his face and sleep a lot. Sans is laying real low after his Shadow sabotaged the generator. In fact, seeing as he's told Rin Tohsaka to 'lose the schematics' for him, it seems he's quit being the castle's quantum mechanic. The only thing getting him out of bed is the need to eat and--uh, waking up sharing the thoughts and feelings of someone else?! My soul event dance card is pretty much filled up but I will add one more for a compelling enough idea; it is probably one's only chance to get an accelerated view of the inside of this comedian's skull.

For those who have seen canon, the ogre isn't around anymore as of the end of the manga. So there won't be any black blood room hijinks, that's gone. HOWEVER, Arachne will probably be more active than usual, so that probably won't go too well for his mental state. To bat, if you soulbond with him, you'll be able to feel a certain witch.

I play it as that remnants of her soul are left inside his mind after eating it. Mostly, her presence manifests as itching in Soul's mind and the feel of spiders crawling. But if you want to do more with her, maybe even soulbond with her pieces instead of Soul, let me know. We'll plan it out. I love playing around with these things!

Apparently, Cevilia's not entirely gone, because "Essei"'s shadow manifested as Cevilia, exhibiting her deep-seated rage at the Empire... And at people in Sol Raveh interacting in any positive way with Essei. (Whatever's left of Cevilia has fallen, HARD - so her explicitly stated wish to kill anyone she met? All her.)
What You're Looking For: Essei's just spent two weeks trying to hide from Cevilia's shadow; she intellectually knew it was, as she'd put it, "the former occupant" of her body, but hasn't yet accepted that it was, in fact, a reflection of her. People (including but not limited to Zuko) helping to remind her that she has self-worth and a valid existence would be very nice, in general. She might try to actually be friends with people to help validate her existence further, an unusual new step.
And, of course, there's the soul-link event. That one's gonna be fun for whoever gets linked to her and gets to witness just how messed up she has become.
What You're Not: Romantic CR; Essei defaults to asexual, for one. I'm also looking to keep her away from people who will hate on her existence right now; she really does not need that.
Plans: Essei may try to take initiative on things more and more over the next few months; some of these should go hilariously wrong. I'm open to ideas.
Other: In her source D&D game, when the topic of giving her a name beyond her full designation or the shorthand 'S24' came up, it took an entire in-character hour before an increasingly uncomfortable S24 literally just said "Essei, now let's move on." So, yes, Zuko, you influenced her source canon.

Description: Holds a protagonist card with few benefits and many drawbacks, including the loss of pretty much her entire family to death or abandonment. Her presumably paternal aunt raised her after her dad died, and her mom walked out when her twin brother died. She kind of direly needs a hug, but she's too damn introverted thanks to all the shit that happened.

What You're Looking For: Someone to train her on how to fight, and something for her to do, like helping with the farming or something. She does a lot better with a routine to cling to, I've noticed. Also, FRIENDS PLEASE.

What You're Not: Nooooo romance CR! ... She's already got a dumb crush on someone anyway.

Plans: Thanks to the Shadow event, she now has a dumb teenage crush, so have fun making fun of her for that. Also, y'know, she has to deal with the rest of the Shadow event fallout, like the fact that she went through awful stuff, it was awful, and after acknowledging it she might need to cry about it for once.

As of now, she has no soulbond buddies, so let's change that! ...or not. She will also be glitching and probably be very Done with the glitching a few hours in, so that might be fun.
