
You have arrived in this strange place after what felt like a sleep of forever and a day. The stone walls and strange sarcophagi reach to an impossibly high ceiling, and ink-thick darkness lies beyond the one door that could have been a possible exit otherwise.
You spend time speaking to the warrior spirit that calls himself Ozuma, learning that he has been given a second chance of sorts as the avatar of the God of Light, Sol Raveh. You learn your purpose, your reason for being here at all, away from your home and all of those that you know. That you have been chosen to help in dispelling the darkness that has taken over not only this castle, but many areas beyond it. That darkness, brought on by Sol Raveh's eternal rival, has begun to threaten the entire land...
And they need your help to ensure that it does not.
Unfortunately for now there's very little to do. You can explore the vast Altar room, try to brave the dangers of the darkened door to the south, or just get to know your fellow recruited heroes in the mess hall or the living quarters beneath.
Just be aware...
You are not alone in this castle, and it's Queen does not particularly care for visitors...
